Our classes are two hours long. Saturday Class Time available 9am, 11:30 and 2pm. Class instruction is step by step it is best to watch while instruction is being given. If you need extra time to finish , no worries you can purchase extra time. Thank you for understanding.

Beginner Blacksmithing Lesson 1
All students will take this class first. This class is a prerequisite for the other classes. Then move onto other beginner blacksmithing lessons. Each class is designed for one person to take and forge their own spoon project. One class is available at one time slot. ***** See below in Other classes Offered-for younger students new class Hit Hot Metal.
Spoon Hand forged
This is the first project we recommend you forge on your blacksmithing journey. It will give you good basic skills to move forward.
When taking other classes you will remember the techniques you learned during this class.

Beginner Blacksmithing Lesson 2 Options
Available to book after Lesson 1 is completed
Small Knife 4" - 4 1/2" Mild steel or carbon steel
This lesson 2 class is for someone who wants to begin their knife making journey. Using carbon steel and is a good place for a beginner to start. This is a two hour class. If you want high carbon steel add $15.00.
Throwing Knife
This lesson 2 you will hand forge a throwing knife. Using mild steel. This is a two hour class/lesson.

Herb Chopper mild steel
This lesson 2 class is an excellent addition to your kitchen. Using mild steel you will forge a herb chopper. This is a two hour class/lesson.
Fire Poker
This lesson 2 class a hand forged fire poker. It has a forged leaf at the end. This is a two hour class/lesson.

Blacksmithing Tongs
In this blacksmithing class you will hand forge a pair of tongs. An excellent way to start you very own blacksmithing tool collection.
Once you forge the first pair of tongs you are open up to many other options.
BBQ Fork
In this class you will learn splitting, twisting, drawing out material and shaping material with a handy bottle opener on the end, if you decide
Small Knife with twist
This small knife in mild steel will require you to draw out the handle then twist the handle, a little more forging than the other small knife. This is a two hour class/lesson. Prefer to use carbon steel add $25.00. Total cost $230.00

Cross peen Hammer
This class you will hand forge a cross peen hammer. A great addition to your blacksmithing skill set and tool box also. Experience is necessary for this class.
Small Tomahawk
This class you will hand forge a tomahawk with a forged welded edge. Using the coal forge. This is a two hour class//lesson. Experience is necessary to take this class

Private Lesson
Private Lessons are available for you Saturday to book- One on One instruction .This lesson can advance your blacksmithing skill set quickly. Get answers to the questions you have . Two hour intervals. Plus materials.
Hit Hot Metal
This class is being offered for the younger student. It is a one hour class. It is an intro class for beginners to experience blacksmithing and get acquainted with the craft. How to stand at the anvil, how to handle hot metal, how to use a hammer and tongs. A Great class to start off with.Get your feet wet. Bring a friend ! Save 20% on second person they pay $76.00 per hour.
